  1. In corporate training we talk about learning transfer, Kirkpatrick’s level 3, which is behavioral change. The tricky-bit seems to be getting someone to support such change. Commonly we suggest managers need to be involved. But today that can be a problem because managers are overloaded already. Perhaps self-managed post-training implementation planning is the answer. What do you think?

  2. Kirkpatrick’s levels provide excellent structure. However, leader/managers should not be on a separate island. If the leader/manager works with each employee to create a Development Plan as part of performance planning, this will serve your organization as well as your group.
