    I would add however, that job / career shifts often require the addition of skills. On boarding should also be skill-education time with a mentor and provide an opportunity during that period that the new leader to demonstrate capabilities by completing a “project’ that will help the person truly work within the system and be able to demonstrate their capabilities or areas of future development.
