SkillSoft, an SaaS provider of e-learning and performance support products, announced SkillSoft Professional Advantage, a new technology enabled learning product focused on key workplace competencies and designed to meet the demand for shorter, more flexible learning alternatives for busy professionals.
The SkillSoft Professional Advantage series seeks to leverage the design of the SkillSoft Leadership Advantage series and offers a competency-based learning service to support the development of non-managerial professionals.
Each of the learning tracks is aligned with workplace competencies, including listening, managing conflict, problem solving and decision making, priority setting and negotiating. Multiple modes of expert instruction are offered using text, video and interactive practice activities, which are designed to keep learning quick, easy and engaging.
Content elements include videos, book summaries and a range of other learning tools that can be downloaded and synched to popular mobile devices.
Whether professionals are looking to improve their negotiating skills or better understand problem solving and decision-making techniques, SkillSoft Professional Advantage seeks to provide a variety of learning tracks to help busy professionals better understand the key competencies needed for development.
Additional tracks will be released throughout the year, with up to 25 available by year’s end, focusing on communication foundations, personal effectiveness, business acumen, advanced business communication, career management and thinking skills.
