HR.com and Business Book Review (BBR) today announced a new strategic partnership that will allow HR.com to offer its Premier Members unlimited access to business book reviews.
Individual business book reviews will also be available for $8 through HR.com’s online HR Marketplace, and corporate licenses will be available through HR.com’s sales team.
“The 150,000-plus members of our HR community are beyond pressed for time, yet staying on top of the latest management theories and practices is critical to the success of their organizations,” HR.com CEO Debbie McGrath said. “Business Book Review offers our members the key knowledge they need in an easy-to-digest format that can be effortlessly integrated into their learning and development programs. We’re thrilled to be adding this benefit to the growing list of tools we provide to our Premier Members.”
The BBR Library contains more than 700 expertly written summaries of the top 1 percent of business books on the market.
Some popular titles in the human resources and leadership space include “Lost Knowledge: Confronting the Threat of an Aging Workforce” by David W. DeLong, “The Next Level: What Insiders Know about Executive Success” by Scott Eblin, “A Whole New Mind: Moving From the Information Age to the Conceptual Age” by Daniel Pink and “Focus Like a Laser Beam: 10 Ways To Do What Matters Most” by Lisa L. Haneberg and Keith Ferrazzi.
Each summary is about eight to 10 pages long and can be read online or printed.
“Global 500 companies and top executives from around the world rely on BBR to keep them — and their employees — abreast of the latest in business intelligence and trends,” said John Fayad, BBR CEO and publisher. “In about 20 minutes, employees can quickly gain and retain insights found within each book and can use that knowledge to help them close competency gaps, improve the business acumen of their team and move from a tactical to a more strategic role within their organization.”Filed under: Talent Management
