Chicago, Sept. 24, 2009 - The editors of Chief Learning Officer magazine have released the 2010 editorial calendar. The calendar is available for review on the magazine's Web site, www.CLOmedia.com.
In the upcoming year, the editors will maintain their focus on how the economy continues to impact workforce learning and development and the emerging strategies and principles being implemented to meet these challenges.
"While the economy appears to have stabilized, chief learning officers will continue to face significant challenges for the foreseeable future," said Mike Prokopeak, vice president, editorial director of Chief Learning Officer magazine. "In 2010, the magazine will deliver guidance and insight to meet these challenges head-on and explore the organizational opportunities created by this new environment. Learning agility and business alignment will continue as strong themes in the coming year's editorial coverage, and we'll continue to keep readers abreast of the ongoing impact of new technologies and evolving social media on the design and delivery of learning initiatives."
Two themed issues are scheduled for 2010. In the January issue, "Learning in the New Business Environment," the editors will discuss the critical issues CLOs will be facing in 2010. March's "The Networked Learning Organization," which coincides with the Spring 2010 CLO Symposium of the same theme, will take a look at how corporate and social networks are changing the landscape of learning.
Chief Learning Officer magazine is a valued resource for executives in the learning industry, delivering award-winning editorial coverage of the issues and strategies vital to their success. For more information, please visit www.clomedia.com or e-mail the editorial office at editor@clomedia.com.
