St. Louis — Jan. 20

Kirkpatrick Partners is pleased to announce Jim Kirkpatrick, Ph.D., has joined the company as senior consultant effective Dec. 1, 2009.

Jim joins his father Don Kirkpatrick and his wife Wendy Kayser Kirkpatrick at the one and only Kirkpatrick company, carrying on the work of Don Kirkpatrick and the Kirkpatrick Four Levels. Kirkpatrick Partners was established to respond to a growing need for companies to rationalize the resources dedicated to training. Jim will present workshops for and provide consulting to Fortune 500 companies around the world. His major areas of expertise are implementing the Kirkpatrick Four Levels of evaluation, transferring learning to behavior, the business partnership model and executing strategy.

Prior to joining Kirkpatrick Partners, Jim was vice president for global consulting and training for SMR USA and served as the director of the corporate university at First Indiana Bank. Some of his recent clients include Harley-Davidson, Booz Allen Hamilton, PepsiCo, L’Oreal, Clarian Health, Ingersoll Rand, Honda Manufacturing, the Royal Air Force and GE Healthcare.

Jim has co-written three books with his father Don, the developer of the four levels. He also has two cutting-edge new books, co-authored with his wife Wendy, Kirkpatrick Then and Now (2009) and Training on Trial, due to be released in February 2010.
