New York — Feb. 6
UBS Investment Bank was named a winner at the ninth annual Corporate University Xchange Awards for excellence and innovation in corporate learning. UBS was recognized in the Alignment category for furthering corporate goals through investment in learning and development.

The award was presented at the gala dinner Feb. 5 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
“We are thrilled to receive this award,” said Michelle Blieberg, global learning officer, UBS Investment Bank. “One of the key drivers to the success of learning & development in the Investment Bank is its strong alignment with our overall business strategy."

Some key programs include:

  • SUMMIT: A culture change experience for managing directors.
  • ASCENT: A talent development initiative for mid-career professionals of high potential.
  • EXPLORE: A two-year offering in early-career development that helps new graduates discover UBS’ vision, values and culture, in addition to identifying their future gateway within the firm.

UBS also was recognized in the areas of leadership development, which was submitted jointly by L&D and the UBS Leadership Institute and Alliances.

“Each of these winning programs has a measurable impact on a company’s ability to execute their business strategy,” said Sue Todd, president and CEO of CorpU. “We congratulate them.”

The CUX Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning recognize corporate and government organizations for impactful learning initiatives that result in measurable improvements to employee and business performance.
