We are about to commence construction on a new state-of-the-art, $1.27B replacement hospital with anticipated completion in 2014…come be a part of our exciting chapter.

Position

Reporting to the SVP, Chief Human Resource Officer this person will be expected to have a deep knowledge and affiliation of “best in class practices” and can institutionalize applications from introduction to high performing stages. We expect a strategic leader with a strong vision for the future; with a proven ability to construct and put into practice programs that drive an organization towards future objectives and one who will lead and implement change throughout the system.

It will be necessary to collaborate with the Human Resource Leadership Council to develop a comprehensive understanding of Parkland’s work dynamics; identifying mission-critical positions and gaps in organizational competencies. In addition, a strategic alliance with the Director, Clinical Staff Services to conduct needs assessments and focus groups while ensuring a seamless delivery of educational programs for leadership, organizational development, and clinical needs throughout the healthcare system.

Background Desired

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Development, or a related field.

 

  • Must have 10+ years of experience in leading/managing leadership and organizational development experience in a fast-paced, results oriented growth company.
  • Exhibit strong strategic planning and operational implementation skills, the ability to integrate and align strategy, people and activities across functions, processes and teams.

 

  • Prefer Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
