CHIEF TRAINING OFFICER

As one of the largest commuter transportation provider in North America, the MTA Metro-North Railroad delivers safe, reliable service to more than 1 million customers each week. We are currently seeking a Chief Training Officer. In this position, you will provide planning, development and direction of technical skilled training activities for all Metro-North Railroad employees.

Responsibilities include identifying, assessing and implementing long term strategic training plans; developing, planning, organizing and evaluating department structure and staffing; forecasting resources (staff, equipment, facilities) to meet long range training objectives; developing and administering departmental budgets; directing the development, delivery and evaluation of technical training; and developing, implementing and monitoring standards and policies for training and education program development, delivery, evaluation and administration.
