2016 Spring CLO Symposium | Amelia Island, Florida
Learning Redefined is the theme for the 2016 Spring CLO Symposium in Amelia Island, Florida. The conference will feature sessions, workshops and unlimited networking opportunities.

The 2016 Symposium committee is seeking proposals that reflect how organizations are redefining learning form leadership development to learning technology.

The committee invites proposals that:

  • Reflect innovation and cutting edge takes on learning and development
  • Provide advanced content for chief learning officers
  • Are structured case studies  

Speaking proposals are due by November 15, 2015.

2016 CLO Breakfast Clubs | Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago, Boston, New York, Washington D.C.
The 2016 Breakfast Club committee is seeking learning practitioners in each event city to moderate a morning long discussion on learning and development. Moderator opportunities are only available to individuals heading up employee learning within their organizations. Submissions from solution providers and consultants will not be considered.

What Chief Learning Officer speaking opportunities are available?

Each CLO Symposium offers a mix of innovative and thought provoking sessions delivered by practicing corporate learning and development professionals, director level and above. The enterprise learning topics include leadership development, learning delivery, management, measurement, performance management, succession planning, technology and emotional intelligence.  

Power Hour Plus sessions are 15 minutes in length and preformed from the Symposium main stage. Power Hour talks take a story telling approaching focusing exclusively on one initiative you’ve focused on within your organization.

Panel sessions are comprised of panel learning leaders and industry experts and occur from Symposium main stage. Each panel discussion focuses on a top of mind topic that can’t be easily solved by one or two individuals, but a collection of experts.

Workshops are 60 minutes in length and delivered to an intimate group of learning leaders in individual breakout rooms. These sessions are interactive between the presenter and audience consisting of both presentation and facilitated discussion.

Chief Learning Officer webinars are informative 60-minute case studies sharing your team or organization’s success story in delivering an enterprise learning strategy. Accepted webinar topics mirror those outlined for CLO Symposium sessions.

The CLO Breakfast Club Series is a morning long interactive discussion that incorporates learning experts and local practicing corporate learning leaders. Each season the rotating discussion panel will discuss a pre-identified topic in depth.

What do you look for in a speaker?
We look for speakers that have a great story to share with the Chief Learning Officer community.  All presenters must be practicing HR executives, director level or above. 

Consultants and solution providers are invited to submit proposals in conjunction with a specific sponsorship opportunity. We request that your clients directly submit their proposal or connect with our event sales manager who will follow up with more information.

How many speaking slots are available?
CLO Symposium has approximately 10-15 available speaking slots (exact number determined by agenda). Each CLO Breakfast Club event has two available moderator slots. Chief Learning Officer webinars are limited to two speaking slots each.

What resources are offered to speakers?
Selected speakers are offered complimentary event registration and listings in event publications and websites.
