U.S. News & World Report released its 2013 “Best Business Schools” rankings online Tuesday at USNews.com. After being solo in the top spot last year, Stanford University Graduate School of Business is once again joined by the Harvard Business School in a tie for the No. 1 spot.

Highlights of these rankings as part of the U.S. News Best Graduate Schools rankings will be published in the “Best Graduate Schools 2013” edition book, on sale April 3.

U.S. News made one change to the 2013 Best Business Schools ranking and methodology. The change was made in how the part-time M.B.A. rankings were computed. For the first time, U.S. News included the percentage of a graduate business school's part-time enrollment, the mean undergraduate GPA of entering part-time students, the mean GMAT of entering part-time students, and the average months of experience for entering part-time students, in addition to the peer assessment score as ranking factors.

In addition to the overall Best Business Schools rankings, this year includes new rankings in business specialties such as accounting, executive MBA, finance, international business, marketing, nonprofit and part-time MBA, among others.
