Team Builders Plus, a global team-building and leadership-development organization, recently received the Emerald Award from Inscape Publishing of Minneapolis for outstanding consulting achievements.
It also has received honors from Performance Support Systems (PSS) Inc. of Newport News, Va., as the No. 1 Associate for 2006, and PSS’s All-Time Leading Global Distributor.
The Emerald Award from Inscape Publishing places Team Builders Plus in the top one-half of 1 percent of consulting companies globally.
As a leading producer for Inscape Publishing, Team Builders Plus has helped tens of thousands of managers and teams improve their performance using the DiSC Classic.
This is a research-based, self-assessment tool that has helped more than 40 million people improve performance and increase job satisfaction and value differences over the past 30 years.
“Inscape Publishing’s quality materials are integrated into our client solutions, focusing on leadership, management, team building and other employee-development initiatives,” said Team Builders Plus president Jeff Backal.
The PSS award conveys Team Builders Plus’ position as the No. 1 provider of the 20/20 Insight GOLD program, a Web-based employee survey system that allows organizations to conduct 360-degree feedback, team assessments and organizational climate surveys.
Team Builders Plus is also the fourth-largest provider of the Train-To-Ingrain process, a 12-module leadership development series that combines 360-degree feedback, classroom training and Web-based training.
“Leadership development is the most needed and sought-after area of training today,” PSS President Meredith Bell said. “The ability of Team Builders Plus to go beyond implementing our leadership training processes with clients by providing extensive follow-through via individualized approaches and expertise is its key to success.”
